Vanilla Peanut Butter Power Oatmeal - The BEST breakfast EVER

Ingredients

*ingredient quantities are variable, depending on the oatmeal consistency and nutritional and flavor profile you want!

- Quaker 1-minute oats (60 g)
- Milk 1% (160 g)
- Extra Crunchy Peanut Butter (20g)
- PB2 peanut butter powder (7g)
- Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein Powder, Vanilla Ice Cream (1 scoop, 31g)
- Half an Apple, diced (fuji, or your favorite kind)
- Ground Cinnamon

Instructions

If you have a scale handy, you can make it the exact same every day! (I prefer scales over measuring cups, because there's no extra dishes!)
This is how I make it, but feel free to adjust amounts and instructions to your liking.

1. Zero a microwave-safe bowl on a kitchen scale
2. Add Oats and milk (some say even a dash of salt!)
3. Microwave on high for 1-1.5 minutes. (This depends on how powerful your microwave is and how thick/runny you want your oats. I microwave for 1:30 on high with my fairly weak microwave)
4. Add peanut butter powder and peanut butter (just put the bowl back on the scale, and add away!)
5. Stir until mixed
6. Add protein powder, mix well
7. Add diced apple
8. Dash with cinnamon
9. Enjoy!

Tip: Dice your apple while oats are in the microwave!
Other note: Don't have powdered peanut butter? Just use a little more regular peanut butter instead. It will be a little richer though.

Vanilla Peanut Butter Power Oatmeal- with diced apple & cinnamon

Description

This breakfast is top-tier, premium fuel to power a successful day. I've been eating it every morning for nearly a year! If you get bored with it, try different toppings (other fruits, nuts) or protein powder flavor. (Gold Standard is available at Walmart, and it tastes pretty good)
