Homemade Meatballs

Ingredients

2 pounds ground chuck
1 pound spicy Italian sausage
3 large eggs
1 bag croutons, crushed
2 tablespoons garlic, minced
Cilantro
Italian Seasoning
Salt
Pepper
1 jar spaghetti sauce, Prego, 67 oz.

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine and mix the ground chuck with the Italian sausage.
2. Add garlic and eggs into the meat and mix again.
3. Add croutons, Italian seasoning, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
4. Roll meat mixture into golf ball sized balls.
5. Place the meatballs onto an ungreased baking sheet.
6. After all the balls are rolled and on the sheet, bake in the oven at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
7. While the meatballs are baking, place jar of spaghetti sauce in a CrockPot.
8. Once the meatballs are cooked, place in the CrockPot with the sauce.
9. Cook until sauce is hot.
10. Serve over spaghetti or with desired side dish (optional).

Description

This recipe was made special to me during the Covid-19 pandemic because my mom cooked them more often. This recipe requires time and love. Spaghetti is one of my favorite foods so my mom made this a lot in order to try and normalize things. This is a great dish to make at parties or large events.
